My Art Journey
Hi Everyone!
My name is Emily Winslow, and I am the artist behind the paintings you will find on this shop. I've always been an artist at heart, but my watercolor journey truly began in the summer of 2021! Watercolors were always a struggle for me. My husband, Seth, suggested that I try out a 30-day challenge where I would find a YouTube tutorial to help me paint a new scenery each day. And I truly fell in love with painting during that challenge, and never stopped!
I am proud to say, that in February 2025, I left my corporate tech career to pursue my art FULL-TIME!!!
Living in Indianapolis, Indiana, I draw a lot of inspiration from my midwest surroundings. I love to paint soft watercolor landscapes that portray God's handiwork.
One of my favorite things that I hear from customers is that my art hanging in their home brings joy each day, and that is what I strive for. My hope is to bring a piece of light to daily life through artwork.
